BILLING POLICY
The following constitutes Management & Economics Society (MES) of CIM’s billing policy and applies to all of our customers:

PAYMENTS
If you wish to attend courses organized by MES, your payment will be processed by Eventbrite. Eventbrite provides e-commerce infrastructure for MES through CIM (Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum), and will collect and use your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy posted on its site. Eventbrite will share some of your personal information (e.g., your name and contact information, but not your credit card information) with MES and CIM.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations are not permitted within 7 days of the start of the event, but you may send someone else in your place. Requests for cancellation with refund must be received by MES at education@cimmes.org at least 7 days before the start of the event.

CREDIT CARD DISPUTES / CHARGEBACKS
MES has a zero tolerance policy for chargebacks. Any customer who disputes a credit card payment is subject to a fine, suspension and account termination at MES’s discretion. A charge of $15.00 per chargeback will be assessed to all accounts that receive a chargeback.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS
MES reserves the right to cancel the course. In the event that MES cancels the course for any reason, the registered participants will receive a full refund.

MES’s policies and prices are subject to change without notice.
