The UBC Norman B Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering and the Sauder School of Business have just launched an Executive MBA in Strategic Mining Management to help build the next generation of industry leaders. The first contingent of students will start in September 2015.

The 21-month EMBA was developed jointly by Sauder and the NBK Institute with an advisory council of senior executives from the global mining industry headquartered in Vancouver. Taught by leading business and mining faculty and private sector experts, the program will equip professionals with the integrated perspective needed to manage operational and financial decisions at the highest level.
