For its Wednesday, November 28, 2018 meeting, the Toronto Discussion Group of CIM’s Management and Economics Society is pleased to welcome:

Dr. Michael Dry

President, Arithmetek Inc.

who will deliver a presentation on:

So You Have Lithium—Now What?

Abstract: Dr. Dry’s presentation will provide insights to help decide which lithium projects merit development, by diving into how the process chemistry drives the associated capital and operating costs for hard rock deposits and for brines. His talk will cover the main lithium minerals and brine types, will present a high-level overview of why lithium has its current buzz, and will take a broad look at how it is extracted from the various sources. Established technology and some novel new technology will be covered in terms of the process chemistry.
